CrossFit Games 2021 are nearing, and many CrossFit Games 2021 participants are extremely excited. Other than the traditional CrossFit Games, events for women will be held. Women's competition

The women's competition at the 2021 Crossfit Games began this morning with the swim event. Jonne Koski and Tia-Clair Toomey Orr won the first event. Koski was the overall winner after keeping her lead throughout the competition. Tall and Eramo O'Connell finished second and third, respectively. It was the first Games event by women. The women's side wanted to complete the podium.

The women's contest is filled with high-level athletes. Nine athletes are represented in the field, including a young Australian powerhouse who won last year's competition. Kara Saunders from Australia, who placed second in Australia and 11th globally in 2020 are other contenders. Andrea Nisler, a rising star who competed for the team division in 2018, finished third in America and fifteenth overall in 2020. These athletes will be joined by Sara Sigmundsdottir from Iceland, who was awarded the first place medal at the World Crossfit Games earlier in the year.

Pegboard contest

Pegboard at Crossfit Games 2020 was a first. Along with dumbbell overhead squats and double-unders, it was included in the Games' summer Olympic programme. Toomey-Orr held the record for most Games wins with 30. Sager won Event 11 men's and received his third Games win. There were several tie in the contest but Toomey Orr's dominance was too strong to stop him winning.
