USF Personal Training and USF Group Fitness

usf personal training

USF personal training programs have grown in recent years. The FIT Program, which pairs seniors from the Exercise Science program at USF with faculty and staff members, is a unique program. Students assist clients with fitness assessments and develop individual training plans. They also supervise post-assessments to evaluate the results. Maureen Chiodini, a USF instructor says the FIT Program complements USF's course work and provides students real-world experience.

USF students, faculty, staff and alumni can access the three fitness centers at USF for just $316 per calendar year. Staff and faculty can purchase monthly or daily guest passes to the gym. You can access the entire rate card online. You can also use the campus gym without a LA Fitness membership. For information about the hours and locations of USF's personal training programs in your region, check the USF website. You will be glad that you did.

Campus Recreation is a good place to continue your education, if you're interested becoming a personal training coach. The staff at Campus Recreation will respond to your online form and evaluate your physical condition. This will allow them to determine which exercises work best for you. After that, they'll assign you a trainer so that your training sessions can start. The first session will include a one-hour evaluation of your flexibility, cardiovascular fitness, and strength. Students will have the opportunity afterwards to work out with their personal trainer and reach their fitness goals.

Three gyms are available on the USF campus. All three are available free of charge to faculty, students, and staff. The Campus Recreation Center, which is home to many of Florida's best amenities, is a great gym. However, USF gyms tend to be very crowded due the large student body. A personal training program that meets your needs should be flexible.
